7-9-2001 Joffrey Lupul injured.
Joffrey Lupul (EDM) suffered knee injury during the game in an incident with Mattias Öhlund (VAN). He is expected to be sidelined for around two weeks. Not much I can do now, except listen to my doctor, was his answer to a reporter question after the game.

Geoff Sanderson injured.
Geoff Sanderson (PHO) suffered arm injury during the game in an incident with Scott Hannan (SJ). He is expected to be sidelined for a couple of days. That was just good, clean, hard hitting hockey. If you think I look bad now you should see the other guy, were his words after the game.

Kyle McLaren injured.
Kyle McLaren (SJ) suffered thigh injury during the game in an incident with Todd Harvey (EDM). He is expected to be sidelined for a couple of days. Small things like this happen to guys almost every game, except this time it happened to me, he said after the game.

Jere Lehtinen injured.
Jere Lehtinen (DAL) suffered wrist injury during the game in an incident with Ruslan Salei (ANA). He is expected to be sidelined for a couple of days. Nothing serious, but I do remember who hit me and caused the injury, he commented in a radio interview after the game.
